Instructions
  1. To a mixing bowl add 1/3 Cup Salted Butter, 1/3 Cup Peanut Butter & 1/3 Cup Powdered Sugar.
  2. Whisk using a whisker. Whisk till sugar, peanut butter and butter merge into each other and till you get a light, creamy and fluffy mixture. This would take around 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. After whisking, Place a strainer on the bowl and pour 1 Cup All Purpose Flour / Maida, ½ Tsp. Baking Powder & 1/4th Tsp. Baking Soda. Strain all three over the whisked mixture in the mixing bowl. Straining removes any lumps and the resulting dough is light.
  4. After straining, using a spatula mix all the ingredient.
  5. After mixing with a spatula start kneading the dough with your hands. At this point if you feel the dough is a little dry then you can add I Tbsp. melted butter while kneading the dough. It would take around 1 to 2 minutes to knead the cookie dough.
  6. Preparing the cookies will take 10 to 15 minutes thus, preheat the oven at 180° degrees for 10 minutes.
  7. Lay a parchment or butter paper on the baking tray. Make sure the parchment paper or butter paper used is of the size of the baking tray.
  8. Pinch small dough balls form the cookie dough and roll in into a round shape by rolling between the palms of both your hands. Press slightly to set the balls into the shape of the cookies and place them on the baking tray.
  9. Make sure to put some gap between the cookies when laying them on the baking tray.
  10. After preparing the cookies, garnish with roasted peanuts. You can also use crushed peanuts.
  11. After the preheating is done, place the baking tray into the oven and bake the cookies at 180° Degrees for 18 to 20 Minutes.
  12. Take the tray out of the oven after 20 minutes and let the cookies cool down to room temperature.
  13. Golden brown cookies at the bottom indicate proper baking.
  14. Our Peanut Butter Cookies are ready. Serve with tea & Coffee.
