Instructions
  1. Place the chicken breasts on the plastic wrap, leaving a space of 2-inch between each.
  2. Slice the chicken breasts horizontally to make 2-3 fillets
  3. Alternatively, you may use a meat tenderizer to pound the chicken breasts until they are about ¼-inch thick.
  4. In a separate bowl, put plain flour and add salt & ground black pepper as per taste.
  5. Whisk egg & milk together in another bowl.
  6. In the third bowl, combine breadcrumbs or Panko with paprika, salt and sesame seeds (optional).
  7. Take a chicken piece & coat it in flour, followed by egg mixture & then roll it in breadcrumb mixture.
  8. Repeat the procedure with the remaining chicken pieces & place the coated schnitzels in an empty plate.
Deep Fry
  1. Pour vegetable oil in a skillet & heat it slowly over medium for few minutes.
  2. When the oil is hot, place the coated breasts carefully in the oil and deep fry, one or two at a time.
  3. Continue cooking the chicken breast for 4-5 minutes each side or until golden brown.
  4. When cooked, transfer the chicken breasts to a plate lined with paper towel or bread slice to drain excess oil.
  5. Serve hot chicken schnitzels with fried potatoes, lemon wedges or Israel salad & spicy mustard.
Baked
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degree Fahrenheit or 220 degree Celsius.
  2. Line the baking sheet with aluminum foil & drizzle olive oil over it.
  3. Place the coated chicken schnitzels on the baking sheet in a single layer leaving a space of around 2-inches between them.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the coated chicken schnitzels.
  5. Place the baking sheet carefully in preheated oven & bake chicken schnitzels for 5-6 minutes.
  6. Flip the chicken pieces once & continue baking until the breading is lightly browned, for 5-6 minutes more.
  7. The luscious baked Chicken Schnitzel is ready. Serve hot with mashed or fried potatoes, lemon wedges or Israel salad.
