Blanch spinach leaves by soaking in boiling water for 1 minute. Make sure all leaves are soaked properly in water.
After boiling for 1 minute put spinach in ice cold water, this will stop cooking process and it will keep its color and nutrients intact. 3. Keep spinach in iced water for 2 minutes.
Take out spinach from iced water. This process is called blanching.
Put blanched spinach in grinder, add garlic cloves and grind it to make fine puree.
Heat 1 Tbsp. butter in a pan. Add the spinach puree to the pan when the butter melts.
Cook spinach for 2 minutes on two minutes. After cooking for 2 minutes add 2 cups of water.
Mix well and boil for 5-7 minutes.
Now add half a cup of milk, salt and crushed black pepper. Mix well and boil for 5 more minutes.
