The deadly Coronavirus (COVID-19) has spread it wings to over 60 counties, with death toll rising to 3,000 globally, as per Coronavirus latest news. The vast majority of the infected people comes from China, where the epidemic began in December 2019.
As per the latest update, the SARS Coronavirus outbreak has rendered over 89,000 infected on every continent, except Antarctica.
Outside China, South Korea has the world’s second-highest number of confirmed cases of Coronavirus infection. This lethal virus has rendered over 4,335 infected, with 26 people succumbed. The Disease Control & Prevention Centre for South Korea confirmed 476 new infections today, the youngest patient being a 45 days old baby.

As per Coronavirus latest news, Singapore reported 4 new confirmed cases of infection, making a total of 106 cases nationwide. The novel cases do not have any travel history to China or South Korea.

While Indonesia, the fourth populous country, confirmed first two cases of infection earlier this morning, Australia has reported three more confirmed cases of infection after confirming first case of human-to-human transmission this morning.

United States reported Second Death from Coronavirus Infection
The United States reported second death from the deadly Coronavirus Infection near Seattle on Sunday evening. The deceased man in his 70s died at the Evergreen Health Hospital on Saturday.
The first death from the infection was reported in the same hospital on Saturday.
New cases of infection have been reported from Oregon, Rhode Island, Washington State & Florida, making the total number of cases in United States to 89. All these cases are linked to foreign travel.
In one of the nursing facilities at Seattle suburb of Kirkland, six new cases of infection have been confirmed, which includes both employees & residents.
The first case of infection in New York is a woman from Manhattan, who is suspected to have contracted the virus from her travel in the recent past to Iran. The patient, who is in New York now, has been quarantined at her residence.
According to the officials, the Coronavirus Infection was spreading under the radar in the American communities for weeks now.
Coronavirus latest News | Situation in Italy – Uncontrollable
Italy reported a gigantic 50% increase in the number of confirmed Coronavirus cases yesterday.
According to Italy’s Civil Protection Authority, the country now stands at 1,694 confirmed cases & 34 people succumbed to the virus.
As per the latest update, myriad of cities & towns in the country’s Northern region are under lock-down, leading to effectively quarantining of over 100,000 people & limiting their movement.
Restaurants all over Italy & Piazza del Duomo, Milan can be seen empty as people have started taking precautions against Corona Virus outbreak. Nike’s Headquarters in Netherlands Temporarily Closed
Nike has decided to lock-down its headquarters in Netherlands today & tomorrow, citing Coronavirus Outbreak. The announcement was made after one of the Nike’s employees was reported infected with Coronavirus.
The Dutch News Agency named ANP, referred to an internal e-mail & reported that Nike’s office in Hilversum, Netherlands would be disinfected overnight. It further revealed that the infected employee has self-isolated for 14 days. Around 2,000 Nike Employees from 80 countries are said to be working at this site.
Since 28 February 2020, 10 new Coronavirus infections have been reported by the Dutch Health Authorities.
