The designers got a little creative for London Fashion Week 2020 by experimenting on bringing back retro style, office look, prom dresses and going crazy with the designing, paving way for wardrobe change to all fashion lovers for the coming fall.
Let’s look deeper into the details of every look by the fashion gurus for making London Fashion week 2020, one of the most talked about event since 14th February 2020.
Having caplets attached to the knitted dresses and satin dress with metallic sleeves sparkling simplicity and grace, JW Anderson played with the fabrics with his creative mind. He also designed Fil-coupe dresses with undulating threads in silver, turquoise and golden colors. Liquid satin dresses woven with metal and prints gave the look a contrasting effect and fashion trend that will be adapted in coming times.
Richard Malone used this forte for bringing out great looks for the London fashion week 2020 runway. This year, he collaborated with Woolmark Company because he wanted to innovate with the textile and fabric, as his label is known for having excellent textiles. He used naturally dyed, hand-woven wool twill weave and up cycled, hand-embroidered felt and made into wearable looks. He also used his signature look of fit and flare, added harness, strap and belt with layers formed in counteract angles. Other looks were sharp leather trousers and coat.
AW20 London fashion week looks by Shrimps, inspired from the British look book, enhanced the bright colors lighting up the prestigious runway of London street fashion trends. Reimagining her last year, where Shrimps went fur free, with her signature look of faux fur coats. Pinks were used religiously without holding back even a tad bit making the color her shade of choice for this year’s fashion week. The royal family takes much of inspiration from Shrimps makes it a royal brand. Signatures looks include silk dresses and an embellished Alice band; skirts for a Balmorals visit, a royal garden print came on a faux fur coat to match the catwalk carpet and fitted gowns.
Burberry collection came up with their signature trench coats and duffel coats inspired by Riccardo Tisci’s revisited look “memories” reminding us of a student studying at Central Saint Martin’s in London. Other looks involved long car coats, narrow legged suiting and leopard print dress and blouse.

Billy Porter is a dress up icon and we don’t deserve him. His streets style look are eye catching and this time too he hasn’t failed to woe the crowd with his street style peppy look.
Rosh Mahtani of Hatton Garden jewelers Alighieri was awarded by Princess Anne with the Queen Elizabeth II award for her commitment and sustainability and she is the first jeweler to be honored with this award.
The drape magic sparkled the London Fashion week 2020 runway, put together by high commissioner Ruchi Ghanshyam displaying 17 most prominent weaves of India.
