Tomato Basil Bruschetta
Instructions
  1. Blanch the tomatoes and chop them.
  2. Take a large bowl and mix chopped tomatoes, garlic, basil, salt, lemon juice and olive oil.
  3. Set the mixture aside for 10 to 15 minutes. Do not Refrigerate it.
  4. Preheat oven at 180 degrees. Alternatively you can also use a preheated pan.
  5. Meanwhile, slice Baguettes diagonally into 1/4th inch thick slices. Alternatively you can also use readily available bread loafs.
  6. Spread olive oil or melted butter over bread slices with the help of oil brush.
  7. Now place the slices on pan or baking sheet. Bake until the slices turn crispy brown (or 10-15 minutes).
  8. Spread minced garlic over grilled bread slices and put the mixture over these slices.
  9. Garnish the dish with savory herbs like sweet basil and aromatic balsam to enhance the taste and appearance of this popular mouth watering cuisine.
