The UK based Fashion Brand Topshop hit the consumerists of US with the gloomy news. The fashion chain, decided to hold-up their retail stores in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Las Vegas and Atlanta. Chapter 15 Bankruptcy case in US forced the parent company – Arcadia Groupto seize all 11 stores in United States& 23 in United Kingdom (if required). Even if you cannot make it to the store well in time, don’t panic! The bright side of the story is waiting! Topshop products will still be shoppable online & through wholesale partner – Nordstrom even after Topshop US stores closures.
The Arcadia Group Topshop CEO – Ian Grabiner, quoted to the reporters of BBC that this step was “Tough but necessary decision for the business”. The tie up between Beyoncé and Topshop took the company to new heights.Revealed by Business insiders, the controversy of Sir Philip Green – the Chief Executive interrupted the operations of the company. Mr. Green was held responsible for the sexual harassment case. It was last November when Beyoncé announced her split with Topshop and joined hands with Adidas.
Beyoncé confessed in a press release that, her partnership with Adidas is for lifetime. The common philosophy of keeping the creativity, growth and social responsibility at the vanguard of business prevailed, she continued.
